£22 Million EuroMillions Jackpot Offered on Tuesday 5th May

You could be £22 million (€30 million) better off tonight if you get those entries in for tonight’s EuroMillions draw, ensuring that you never face another bank holiday Monday night with a sense of dread and trepidation. Tonight’s double rollover jackpot comes courtesy of last Friday’s draw in which no player could grab a £17.7 million (€24 million) windfall, though nearly 2.2 million ticket holders bagged prizes. Have a look through the Results page to see how those fortunate winners fared.

Winning £22 million might seem like an overwhelming amount, but most people have a good idea of how they’d spend at least some of it. Donations to charity, gifts to friends and family and a few treats for themselves would most likely top the list, but some big jackpot winners do go off the beaten path now and again. EuroMillions winner Brian Caswell, who pocketed £24.9 million in June 2009, has taken his family to Lapland to visit Father Christmas - twice. Dean Hardman picked up a £6.7 million EuroMillions jackpot in November 2006 and purchased two racehorses as well as a few luxury vehicles.

Every little (or big) dream you’ve ever had could very quickly become a reality thanks to a big EuroMillions win. If you’ve gazed at the box seats from afar during your club’s home games, you could easily plump for season tickets with price tags that would make most people catch their breath. Maybe you’ve looked longingly in shop windows but felt a bit ill at the price tag of that leather jacket or chaise lounge -  having an eight-figure sum in the bank would mean that you could pick up anything you wanted without batting an eyelid.

If you’re still feeling a bit fuzzy about what day it is because of the recent bank holiday, it’s definitely Tuesday, and EuroMillions is definitely on for tonight. You’ve still got a few hours to pick up those potentially life-changing entries either online or in person from authorised retailers, so hurry up and get those EuroMillions tickets before 7.30pm BST (8.30pm CEST). Good luck, and hopefully you’ll be the first jackpot winner of the month!
