Another Rollover for EuroMillions

Just a week after the last EuroMillions rollover jackpot was won by a single ticket, the jackpot last Friday 2 July proved to be far less cooperative and wasn’t won by anyone. This means that there will be a rollover jackpot of €28 million (around £23 million) to be won in the next draw this Friday 9 July. The odds of winning are of course exactly the same as in a regular draw, and ticket prices don’t increase just because the jackpot happens to be bigger than in a non-rollover draw, so the bottom line is that if you play EuroMillions this week you will effectively get twice as much value for money!

The EuroMillions results last Friday were 12, 13, 36, 41 and 46, and the Lucky Stars were 01 and 08. Two of the main numbers (13 and 41) were highlighted last week as being overdue to be drawn, so anyone who included those among their selections might have been lucky enough to win some kind of prize despite the fact that the jackpot remained unclaimed. For those who want to take overdue numbers into consideration in the next time, our EuroMillions Statistics page tells us that they are 48, 20, 14, 27 and 35, whilst the most overdue Lucky Stars are 05 and 06.

You might be forgiven for thinking that no new Euromillionaires were created thanks to the EuroMillions game itself last Friday, but that wasn’t the case. Two players matched the five main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars to win a second tier prize of €1,417,999 (around £1,172,251) each, so even though the jackpot is still intact, the EuroMillions game still managed to create a couple of brand new millionaires. And of course, the Millionaire Raffle game made one UK player £1 million richer, this time with the number YSJ899058.

3 players matched 5 main numbers only to win €268,270 each (around £221,777) each, whilst 64 players matched 4 main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win €8,982 (around £6,204) each. In total, more than 1,336,891 EuroMillions prizes were paid out last week, and there is every chance that even more could be won this time around. Play EuroMillions online today and one of those prizes – maybe even the rollover jackpot itself – could be yours!
