Bravo to EuroMillions Jackpot Winner in Belgium

The EuroMillions jackpot on Tuesday 20 November was landed by a single ticket belonging to a player (or perhaps a syndicate of players) in Belgium. The last time that a ticket bought in Belgium won the EuroMillions jackpot outright was in September 2011 (two subsequent jackpot wins were shared), so Tuesday’s success was long overdue. The main numbers that made it happen were 28, 30, 42, 45 and 49, and the Lucky Star numbers were 05 and 10. And for those of you who are wondering exactly how much the jackpot was worth, the answer is €22,756,967 (£18,330,737).

The jackpot winner wasn’t the only player to become a millionaire in the Tuesday EuroMillions game because just one ticket matched the five main numbers as well as one of the Lucky Star numbers, and that achievement landed its owner a second-tier prize worth €1,163,545. There were seven winning tickets at the third-tier level, and each of those matched five main numbers only to win €55,407 (£39,290) each.

150 tickets matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win a fourth-tier prize of €1,293 (£916) each, whilst 725 tickets matched four main numbers and one Lucky Star to land a prize of €234 (£165) each. 1,286 tickets won €131 (£93) each by matching four main numbers only, and in total more than 1.63 million prizes were won on Tuesday. For the benefit of UK readers who haven’t yet checked their tickets, the winning Millionaire Raffle number in the most recent game was SSY424299.

Once again, just one of the most overdue main numbers appeared in the latest EuroMillions draw, and that was the number 45, so the most overdue main numbers as we approach the next game are 46, 12, 13, 39 and 34. The most overdue Lucky Star numbers are still 07 and 08.

We congratulate everyone who won a prize in the EuroMillions game on Tuesday, and particularly the player in Belgium who managed to win the jackpot. The jackpot in the next game this Friday will be worth €15 million (around £12 million), so if you fancy winning that kind of cash before the weekend gets underway, visit this page to buy your tickets and good luck!
