EuroMillions Continues to Deliver
7th June 2010 9:58 AM
The EuroMillions lottery continues to deliver jackpots like clockwork, with yet another €15,000,000 prize (around £12,000,000 for those who are reading in the UK) being won by a single player on Friday 4 June. The EuroMillions results which made this possible were 04, 17, 34, 40 and 42, and the two Lucky Star numbers were 04 and 09. The Millionaire Raffle number in the UK (which made one player £1 million richer) was TRD388793.
7 lucky players (though they weren’t quite lucky enough to win a share of the jackpot) matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win €422,541 (around £349,704) each. Another 11 players matched five main numbers only to win €76,307 (around £51,975) each.
There were plenty of other consolation prizes paid out to those who matched fewer numbers – over 1.55 million EuroMillions prizes were won in total – so we’re guessing that just as many players will be very keen to buy themselves an extra ticket or two for the next draw this Friday 11 June, where the jackpot will once again be worth €15 million.
It is too early to know who the latest EuroMillions jackpot winner is, and we don’t even know whether the owner of the winning ticket is an individual or a syndicate at this stage. If the winner decides to make details of their win public then we will of course tell you all about them in due course. In the meantime, players who didn’t win the big one will be wanting to try and do better this week.
None of the EuroMillions numbers last Friday were ones that had been identified as ‘overdue’ to be drawn according to our EuroMillions Statistics page. That means the most overdue main numbers right now continue to be 48, 02, 13, 41 and 20, and the most overdue Luck Star numbers are 01 and 05. If you think that one or more of these numbers might help you to land the next big EuroMillions jackpot then feel free to take them into consideration when you play EuroMillions online.
