EuroMillions Déjà Vu

Anyone who looks at the details of the EuroMillions prizes that were won on Friday 28 May might well experience a strange case of déjà vu. It wasn’t that the EuroMillions results themselves were repeated (although one of last week’s Lucky Star numbers was drawn as another Lucky Star this time around, and the other from last week was drawn as a main number) but that the jackpot was landed by a single player and that once again there were eight second-tier prize winners.

The EuroMillions results for Friday 28 May were 04, 09, 31, 32 and 33, and the two Luck Star numbers were 03 and 07. The Millionaire Raffle number, which is worth £1,000,000 to the UK player lucky enough to match it, was SQR331307.

As we said in the opening paragraph, one player matched all five main numbers and both Lucky Star numbers to land the €15,000,000 jackpot (which was worth around £12,693,000 for UK readers). Eight more players matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win €382,339 (around £264,922) each.

There were fewer third-tier prize winners this week, with just five players matching the five main numbers only to win €173,602 (around £120,289) each. This was ten fewer third-tier winners than in the previous week, when fifteen people won €58,426 (around £39,120) each.

Once again, none of the numbers that had been highlighted as ‘overdue’ according to our EuroMillions Statistics page were selected, so the most overdue main numbers are still 48, 02, 13, 41 and 20, whilst 01 and 05 are most overdue to appear as Lucky Star numbers.

Because the jackpot was won again, the jackpot for the next draw this Friday 4 June will again be worth €15 million. Will EuroMillions déjà vu strike for the third week in a row or will normal unpredictable lottery service resume? Play EuroMillions online today and this time next week all will be clear. Good luck!
