EuroMillions Eludes Players Twice

The EuroMillions lottery jackpot often eludes players, but last Friday our favourite lottery game also eluded those who were hoping to land a second-tier prize or better. That’s right, not only did no player match the five main numbers and two Lucky Stars, no player managed to match the five main numbers and a single Lucky Star either! That means we have a rollover jackpot of around €28 million (around £23 million) to play for this Friday 25 June.

The EuroMillions results that proved so difficult for players seeking one of the top two prizes were 02, 29, 31, 32 and 38, and the two Lucky Star numbers were 01 and 04. This meant that the main number 02 and the Lucky Star 01 were repeated from the previous draw, which could go some way to explaining why some players might have avoided playing them again.

Of course, with twelve prize tiers in all there were still plenty of winners last Friday. 5 players matched the 5 main numbers only to win a third-tier prize of €744,549 (around £550,723) each, and 66 players matched 4 main numbers and 2 Lucky Star numbers to win €8,906 (around £6,588) each. As always, one player in the UK won £1,000,000 in the Millionaire Raffle game, where the winning number was WRY637536.

With two numbers repeating from the previous week, there was obvious less chance of overdue numbers making an appearance, and as it turned out none of them did. That means the most overdue numbers remain unchanged, with the most overdue main numbers being 48, 13, 41, 20 and 14. The most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 05 and 06. Those of you who would like more statistical details about how numbers have fared in the past should take a look at our EuroMillions Statistics page.

Now that we have a rollover jackpot to play for this Friday we are hoping that players will fare better as far as the two tiers of prizes are concerned. Play EuroMillions online and if our hope becomes a reality you could well be one of the big winners. Good luck!
