EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls for Christmas

The only thing better than winning a EuroMillions jackpot just before Christmas would be winning a EuroMillions rollover jackpot, and that is exactly what players have a chance to do in the game this Friday 23 December. No player matched all five main numbers (01, 09, 12, 14 and 48) as well as both Lucky Stars (01 and 07) on Tuesday 20 December and so the rollover jackpot this Friday is estimated to be worth around €29 million (around £25 million).

Although the jackpot itself wasn’t won on Tuesday, a total of 1,813,708 other prizes were won by players, and some of those prizes will have a massive impact on the lives of the winners involved. Four tickets matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win €256,896 (£214,610) each and seven tickets won €48,933 (£32,849) each by matching five main numbers only.

There were 49 winning tickets at the fourth-tier prize level and each of those won €3,495 (£2,346) by matching four main numbers and both Lucky Star numbers. 925 tickets won €162 (£108) each for matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star. As usual, one player in the UK won £1 million in the Millionaire Raffle game and on Tuesday the winning number was DXR542785.

The next EuroMillions draw this Friday 23 December is the last chance for players to win themselves a jackpot before Christmas, so it is very likely that the draw will be even more popular than usual. Our advice is for you to buy your tickets as soon as possible in order to avoid any last-minute rush, and if you also intend to enter the same numbers for the two EuroMillions draws next week (the last two draws of 2011) it would also make sense to take advantage of the Advance Play option.

Whether you buy tickets just for the draw this Friday or for all three of the draws that remain this year, we wish you the very best of luck and we would also like to wish you a very merry Christmas!
