Mega Jackpot Lands in France!

Last Friday’s €100,000,000 EuroMillions Mega Jackpot was won by a single lottery ticket purchased in France. The owner of the ticket has not yet been named, but we do know that he or she matched all five main numbers (6, 16, 30, 38 and 41) and both Lucky Stars (2 and 4). EuroMillions players all over the world had been hoping for a big outright winner, and that’s exactly what they got!

Eleven other players matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win a second tier prize worth around £360,224 each, and nineteen more matched one less Lucky Star to win around £59,183 each. In total, more than 3.25 million prizes were won by EuroMillions players last Friday, which gives you a good idea of just how many people must have purchased tickets!

Although this brings an end to the latest Euro Millions Mega Jackpot, tradition tells us that we can probably expect another Mega Jackpot or Superdraw game in a few months. That gives you plenty of time to prepare a game plan for the next big guaranteed jackpot – why not take a look at our new Superdraw Strategies article and start thinking ahead?

In the meantime, the regular EuroMillions game continues. The jackpot for the next EuroMillions draw this Friday 25 September will be worth €15 million (around £13 million) so if you didn’t happen to win a prize last week you can play EuroMillions online today and have another shot. Remember, you only need to win one jackpot to change your life forever, so keeping the faith can pay extremely large dividends.

EuroMillions players who like to check the latest EuroMillions Statistics will be interested to note that the most overdue main numbers at the time of writing are 27, 1, 28, 3 and 48. The most overdue Lucky Star numbers right now are 8 and 1.

Also, don’t forget that you can get the latest EuroMillions results in one of three ways: by visiting our EuroMillions Results web page right here, by following our results service on Twitter or by downloading our free EuroMillions iPhone Application. Choose whichever option suits you best and good luck this Friday!
