EuroMillions Results for Friday 9th October 2015

A week after a UK ticket holder snapped up a EuroMillions jackpot worth £11 million (€15 million), more than 29 million players across nine participating countries turned out on Friday night to buy tickets with the hope of repeating that success as the jackpot soared to £18 million (€24.3 million). While the game ended in a rollover, more than 1.7 million participants walked away with great cash returns, including a British player who was the sole winner in the Match 5 + 1 Star tier. They netted a cool £1,059,101 in the process!

The winning numbers were 1, 40, 42, 43 and 47 with Lucky Stars 9 and 11. Six other players, three from the UK and one each from Belgium, Ireland and Spain, matched five main numbers to pick up £58,838 (€78,222) each. Another 30 ticket holders matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win a tidy £5,883 (€7,822) each.

Other prizes won in the main game ranged from £3.80 (€5.10) for matching two main numbers and £245.50 (€326.40) for matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star. For a full prize breakdown, including details on the number of winners in each country and the winning Millionaire Maker code, visit the EuroMillions Results page.
