EuroMillions Rollover Jackpot Landed

The EuroMillions rollover jackpot was landed by a single lottery ticket on Friday 25 June, making the very lucky owner €27,989,077 (around £23,090,988) richer. The EuroMillions results which created the latest Euromillionaire were 01, 08, 18, 28 and 31, and the Lucky Star numbers were 08 and 09. Clearly, anyone who likes the number eight had a very good chances of winning a prize last Friday, and it would be interesting to know if the jackpot winner selected their numbers deliberately or relied on a randomly generated entry.

If the EuroMillions winner goes public and we ever find the answer to that last question then we will let you know. In the meantime, let’s continue with our usual draw analysis by telling you that the winning Millionaire Raffle number (worth £1 million to one lucky UK player) was XSJ216111.

Returning to the main EuroMillions game, eight players matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star number to land a second-tier prize worth €375,465 (around £267,525) each. 13 players matched five main numbers only to win €65,570 (around £46,720) each, and another 117 players caught four of the main numbers and both Lucky Stars for a prize of €5,204 (around £3,708) each.

None of the most ‘overdue’ EuroMillions numbers made an appearance last Friday, so they remain the same for the next draw this week. Those numbers are 48, 13, 41, 20 and 14, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 05 and 06. Of course, those numbers have no more chance of being drawn than any others, so if you would prefer to focus entirely on your own selections, or to buy a randomly generated Lucky Dip entry, your odds of winning a prize are exactly the same. That means you will have a 1 in 24 chance of winning any prize at all for every ticket that you buy.

The jackpot has obviously been reset for the next EuroMillions lottery draw, but there is still €15 million (around £12 million) to play for, so if you fancy getting the month of July off to a winning start, play EuroMillions online today and good luck!
