PlayThe EuroMillions results last Friday 25 February were 12, 13, 42, 45 and 48, and the Lucky Star numbers were 03 and 09. The jackpot, which obviously eluded players everywhere, was worth €44 million (around £37.6 million). 6 players matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win a second-tier prize of €597,356 (around £418,118) each. 8 players matched the five main numbers only to win €127,140 (around £88,991) each, and another 100 players matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win €7,265 (around £5,085) each. The Millionaire Raffle number, which made one UK player £1 million richer, was PLP112089.
In total, more than 1.94 million EuroMillions prizes were won last Friday, and as we said earlier, we expect that the appeal of the triple rollover jackpot this week will result in more tickets being purchased and even more prizes being paid out. Will our prediction prove accurate? We’ll just have to wait and see!
Everything that we said about choosing numbers for last week’s double rollover jackpot applies just as much to the coming triple rollover jackpot game. The odds of winning are exactly the same (1 in 76,275,360 for the jackpot itself and 1 in 24 for any prize at all) as they are for any regular draw, and those odds won’t be influenced one bit by the method that you use to choose your numbers. In other words, you can feel free to go with your gut instinct and each of your tickets will have just as much chance of winning as any other.
