Five lottery tickets missed out on winning the EuroMillions jackpot by just one Lucky Star number on Friday, so the top prize rolled over for the third time in a row. The five tickets in question matched all five main numbers (14, 17, 28, 29 and 39) and just one of the two Lucky Stars (01 or 11), winning a second-tier prize of €341,031 (£242,313) each but failing to land the €33.2 million (£26.9 million) jackpot. That gives EuroMillions fans an estimated €40 million (around £32 million) to play for this Tuesday 3 July.
19 tickets matched the five main numbers only to win a third-tier prize of €29,915 (£21,256) each whilst another 58 tickets won €4,900 (£3,482) each after matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars. There were over 2.95 million prizes won in total on Friday night, and in the UK one ticket was lucky enough to win £1,000,000 for bearing the winning Millionaire Raffle number STQ827960. Hopefully that winner will claim their prize quickly and not join the ranks of the unknown British player who has still to claim their £63.8 million share of the jackpot won on Friday 8 June.
As always, we congratulate everyone who won a prize on Friday and we now look forward to what could well prove to be an even more lucrative game this Tuesday. For the benefit of those of you who like to play one or more overdue numbers we can tell you that the main numbers most overdue to appear are currently 42, 23, 45, 33 and 06, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 04 and 06. Of course, how you pick your numbers doesn’t affect your chances of winning one way or the other, so you could fare just as well by playing a selection of random numbers. However you choose your numbers, play EuroMillions here today to secure your chance of success and good luck!
