Inspiration for Quad Rollover Jackpot Entries

The draw for the massive EuroMillions quad rollover jackpot of around €80 million (or £68 million if you are in the UK) is almost upon us, and players across Europe and around the world are getting incredibly excited. That being the case, we can think of no better way of passing the time than by offering some inspiration for those of you who haven’t yet bought your tickets – or indeed for those of you who feel inclined to buy yourself a few more tickets as the draw looms closer…

Before we present our ideas, we should first remind readers that all EuroMillions entries have exactly the same chance of winning, so none of the ideas which follow will actually increase your odds of success one bit. Of course, they won’t lessen your chances one bit either, so read on and if you feel inspired to include one or more of the numbers that we mention, go for it.

Overdue Numbers
We often highlight the numbers that our EuroMillions Statistics page identifies as being the ones which are most ‘overdue’ to be drawn, so we certainly won’t break with that tradition now that a quad rollover jackpot is up for grabs. The most overdue main numbers are currently 37, 26, 17, 06 and 30, and the most overdue Lucky Stars are 02 and 06.

Calender Numbers
The quad rollover jackpot draw will take place on Friday 11 March, 2011, which is the 70th day of the year. All of that information might inspire you to consider playing the numbers 03 (for March), 11 (for the day) and 20 (as the first part of 2011). You can’t play the number 70, but you could certainly play the number 07 instead if you wanted to. The number 01 (from the middle of 2011) is also a possibility.

Personal Numbers
Think of important dates in your own life and consider taking a similar approach to the one we just went through in the Calendar Numbers section to inspire your own unique selection of numbers. If all of your numbers are in the range 01 to 31 (days of the month) then consider reversing numbers to include one or two outside that range. For example, if you were born on the 24th of the month you could play the number 42 as well as (or instead of) the number 24.

The Time
When you come to make your entry, glance at your watch and check the time, then consider using the number of hours and/or minutes among your selections. For example, if it is 16:40 when you buy your ticket, you could play 01, 06, 04, 16, 40 and maybe even 46 (reversing 64) in your entry.

As we said earlier, none of these suggestions will actually improve your odds of winning, but they can definitely help if you happen to be stuck for ideas when you buy your tickets. Click here to play EuroMillions online and good luck!
