Jackpot Rolls to Friday EuroMillions Game

There was a brand new jackpot of €15 million to be won in the midweek EuroMillions draw on Tuesday 14 August, but no player managed to be as lucky as Adrian and Gillian Bayford were in the preceding draw, and so the jackpot rolled over to this Friday’s game, where it will be worth around €26 million (around £20 million). The main numbers drawn on Tuesday were 01, 16, 38, 42 and 45, and the numbers 09 and 10 were drawn as the Lucky Stars just as they had been in the €190 million game on Friday 10 August.

Although the jackpot wasn’t landed on this occasion, two tickets came very close to winning by matching the five main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars. Each of those players won a second-tier prize of €601,187, and another six tickets won a third-tier prize of €57,256 (£41,423) each by matching five main numbers only.

There were 29 winning tickets at the fourth-tier prize level, so anyone who matched four of the main numbers and both Lucky Stars can now claim €6,910 (£4,999) each. 599 tickets won €292 (£211) each by matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star. The total number of EuroMillions prizes won on Tuesday was 1,664,831, and UK players who were hopeful of winning themselves millionaire status will be keen to note that the winning Millionaire Raffle number – worth a cool £1,000,000 – was KFT691325.

To say that EuroMillions has given players a roller coaster ride over the last couple of months doesn’t even come close to describing the excitement that we have experienced. Not only did we see the game climb to reach its jackpot cap for the first time since the new rule was introduced in February, we also saw it go one draw further, which meant that the jackpot prize pool would roll down if no winner was found. The jackpot was of course landed, making Adrian and Gillian Bayford the second biggest lottery winners in the UK, but less than a week later we are already talking about yet another EuroMillions rollover jackpot that is there to be won.

Play EuroMillions online today for your chance to win the €26 million jackpot this Friday and be sure to give us a shout if you succeed!
