September Deadlines Loom for Unclaimed EuroMillions Prizes

There are four unclaimed EuroMillions prizes, three of which reach into the seven figures, that will be transferred to the Good Causes fund if no one steps forward in September. EuroMillions prizes have a deadline of 180 days after the draw in which prizes can be claimed, and for some winners, time is definitely not on their side. Players across the UK should start checking old handbags and coat pockets while turning desk drawers upside down and thoroughly inspecting their cars. With more than £3 million in EuroMillions winnings on the line, it’s worth a look!

A lucky participant from the Shepway District of Kent grabbed £72,422 after matching five main numbers in the EuroMillions Superdraw on Friday 6th March, but hasn’t made themselves known to lottery officials. With a deadline of Wednesday 2nd September set for claiming the money, the mystery winner is cutting it rather fine.

The very next Friday, a player from North Tyneside matched the winning Millionaire Maker code of FPY442445 to win £1 million. In June, other Lotto and EuroMillions winners in the area spoke to the local press to try and raise awareness of the missing millionaire, including Fred and Doreen Smith. The lucky couple pocketed £2.4 million on Lotto in 2011 and told ChronicleLive that they would “be delighted to welcome another member to the Tyneside lottery millionaire club” and that the money was “an amazing prize, which could really make a huge difference to someone’s life.” The winner has until Wednesday 9th September to come forward.

On Friday 20th March, a player from the Thanet district snagged the Millionaire Maker prize when they matched the code HQQ021515, but has remained silent for months. Lottery officials are urging players in the area to check their tickets, as there is just under two months left for the winner to claim their cash. If they don’t come forward by Wednesday 16th September, the money, and all interest it has accrued over the past few months, will be transferred to the Good Causes fund to support various initiatives across the UK.

Finally, someone in Mid and North Devon is missing out on £1 million and the car of their dreams after scooping one of ten Mega Friday prizes on Friday 27th March. They could be missing out on an Aston Martin, an Audi S5 Cabriolet or another great car as well as a year’s worth of road tax and insurance. Their ticket had a code of KRD143088 and will expire on Wednesday 23rd September 2015. Other EuroMillions prizes set to expire in the near future can be found at the Unclaimed Prizes page.

There’s a £21 million (€30 million) EuroMillions jackpot on offer in tonight’s draw after no player could scoop the top prize this past Friday. Whether you play EuroMillions online or buy tickets from authorised retailers, make sure you check the latest results as soon as possible so that you don’t miss out on a big win. Good luck and have fun!
