Single Player Scoops Jackpot

A single player scooped the EuroMillions lottery jackpot of €15 million (around £12.8 million) last Friday 19 June, 2009. The EuroMillions results were 4, 16, 17, 20 and 29 for the main numbers and 4 and 7 for the Lucky Star numbers. The EuroMillions jackpot has now been reset and so there is another €15 million up for grabs this Friday.

Seven players managed to match five main numbers and just one Lucky Star to win €423,964 (around £356,570) each. Another six players matched the five main numbers only and won €140,366 (around £118,050) each. A total of 2,050,474 EuroMillions prizes were won across all twelve prize tiers.

With just one more EuroMillions lottery draw to go in the month of June, many players will be hoping that this Friday’s game is the one that will make them a multi-millionaire. If you share that aspiration you would do well to play EuroMillions online and keep your fingers crossed!

If you are planning a vacation this summer, don’t forget that you can enter the same set of EuroMillions numbers for several draws in advance. This will allow you to focus on your holiday without worrying about having to buy a ticket in a foreign location – or having to stick around for an extra week or two to make a claim if your numbers come up!
