Spain Lands Fourth EuroMillions Jackpot Win of 2013

Friday’s EuroMillions draw gave players the chance to win a rollover jackpot worth €31 / £27 million and the results revealed that one lucky ticket holder, who purchased their ticket in Spain, matched the five main numbers and two Lucky Stars to win the top prize. This jackpot winner is the fourth Spanish ticket holder to win the jackpot this year and brings the total number of EuroMillions jackpots won in the country to 56.

The EuroMillions numbers drawn on Friday were 2, 3, 10, 31 and 38 with Lucky Stars 6 and 10. In addition to the jackpot winner, luck was in the air for another Spanish player when, along with two other players, they matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win €507,822 (approximately £432,821). Another EuroMillions ticket holder also won €507,822 by matching the five main numbers, making it the first time in the history of the game that winners in both the second and third prize tiers have won exactly the same prizes.

A further 47 players matched four numbers and two Lucky Stars to win €5,402 / £3,616 each while 766 ticket holders each won €290 / £194 by matching four numbers and one Lucky Star. In addition to the winners in the main draw, one UK ticket holder matched the Millionaire Raffle number JLF031078 to win £1 million.
