La Primitiva is a lottery played in Spain which puts up big jackpots every Thursday and Saturday night. The top prize starts at €2 million and has been known to rise higher than €100 million. How to Play
To play La Primitiva, pick six numbers between 1 and 49. You can choose your own numbers or select an automatic pick, where they will be generated at random on your behalf.
You can also play a multiple bet by choosing more than six numbers (up to 11) between 1 and 49. Every combination of six numbers within your selected set will then be entered into the draw.
A Reintegro number between 0 and 9 is also generated on your ticket at random. You can pick your own Reintegro number if you wish.
Prizes
You win prizes by matching your numbers to the winning numbers that are selected in the draw. A Complementario number is also drawn from the 43 numbers that are left after the first six have been selected.
To win the jackpot, you need to match all six main numbers and the Reintegro. In the event that no player matches the winning jackpot numbers, the top prize will roll over to the following draw. The following table shows all the different prize categories and odds of winning.

Joker
You can play Joker alongside La Primitiva for a small additional fee. A seven-digit number will be randomly generated by the computer system. If you match the winning Joker number in full, you receive €1 million.
There are also prizes for matching fewer numbers in order, from the front or the back. The following table shows the prizes you can win.
