On Friday 17 February a EuroMillions jackpot rule amendment will be brought into force and this amendment will effectively guarantee that the jackpot fund is paid out when it has spent a certain amount of time at a certain level. There is already a jackpot cap in place which means that jackpots cannot be higher than €190 million, but right now it is possible for the jackpot to remain at that level for as long as rollovers continue to take place. It is also stated in the current rules that if this maximum jackpot of €190 million is won, the jackpot cap would be increased to €195 million from that point on.
