Millionaire is an online lottery game that offers you the chance to win jackpots of up to £88 million. It was created after regulation was introduced that prevents UK players from betting on the EuroMillions lottery. The two games are played in almost exactly the same way, with the same number of balls to choose from, identical starting jackpots and the same odds of winning.
The winning numbers for Millionaire are sourced from the Swiss Loto Express, a game accredited by the World Lottery Association. Draws take place every Tuesday and Friday at 21:40 GMT.
The game will be familiar to anyone who has previously played EuroMillions: you choose five main numbers between 1 and 50 and two star numbers between 1 and 12, and you win prizes for matching your chosen numbers with those drawn. The jackpot is awarded to players who match all seven numbers.

Is Millionaire the same as EuroMillions?
No. Millionaire was created as an alternative to EuroMillions, after regulation was introduced to prevent betting on the lottery in the UK. Both games work in the same way, though, with players choosing a total of seven numbers and winning prizes for matching them with those drawn.
The main difference between the games is that the winning numbers for Millionaire are taken from the Swiss Loto Express draw, rather than the EuroMillions draw.
Where can I play?
Millionaire is only available to play online through selected providers. Bets can be placed until 21:25 GMT on the day of each draw.
How are the winning numbers drawn?
The winning numbers are taken from Swiss Loto Express. That game is played every five minutes, and the five main numbers for Millionaire are taken from the draw that takes place at 21:40 GMT on Tuesdays and Fridays.
In Swiss Loto Express, 20 numbers between 1 and 80 are drawn. The first five numbers between 1 and 50 that appear are used as the main numbers for that day’s Millionaire game. If the 21:40 draw does not create enough numbers to use as the winning line, the remaining ones are taken from the next draw five minutes later.
Once the five main numbers have been confirmed, the two star numbers are then taken from the next Swiss Loto Express draw. The first two numbers between 1 and 12 that appear are used as the winning Millionaire star numbers.
Where can I check results?
The winning numbers are published on this page on Tuesday and Friday straight after the draw has taken place.
What happens if I win a prize?
All prize money will be paid into your online account as soon as possible after the draw has taken place. You will also receive an email notification to inform you that you have won. Once the prize money is in your online account, you can use it to pay for future entries or withdraw it to your bank account.
