There were two winners of the EuroMillions jackpot on Friday 12 December, 2008, and both lucky players bought their tickets in Belgium! The jackpot was worth €15,000,000 (around £13,447,500), so the two players won €7,500,000 (£6,723,750) each.

The EuroMillions results for that draw were 2, 19, 28, 42 and 49, and the two Lucky Star numbers were 2 and 7 – that’s a lot of twos! Four players matched five main numbers and just one Lucky Star to win €713,574 (£672,686) each, and one of these also bought their ticket in Belgium.

There is now just one more EuroMillions draw to go before Christmas, and the jackpot for Friday 19 December, 2008 has now been reset to €15,000,000 (around £13,000,000). No doubt plenty of players in Belgium will be hoping that this sudden rush of success continues for a while so that they can fill their stockings with a few million Euros.
