Luxembourg Lands First Ever EuroMillions Jackpot Win
30th September 2013 1:36 PM
Friday’s EuroMillions draw is one to note after a lucky ticket holder from Luxembourg won the jackpot and, in doing so, gave the country their first ever EuroMillions top prize win! The jackpot had rolled over five times to be worth a life-changing €65 / £55 million, so congratulations to this latest winner, and also to Luxembourg, on this impressive EuroMillions jackpot win.
The winning numbers from Friday’s draw were 11, 15, 38, 41 and 43 and Lucky Stars 2 and 6 and, in addition to the jackpot winner, over 2.7 million players won a prize. Five ticket holders successfully matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star to each win €357,547 / £249,875. Following this, ten players matched the five main numbers to win €59,591 / £41,645 each, 91 ticket holders each won €3,274 / £2,288 by matching four main numbers and two Lucky Stars and over 1.5 million players matched two numbers to win Friday’s smallest prize worth €4.40 / £3.10. Euro-Millions.com would also like to congratulate Heather Millar, the winner of last week’s EuroMillions 100 ticket giveaway, as she won £53.00 in Friday’s draw!
Friday’s jackpot win means that the EuroMillions top prize has now been reset to €15 / £12 million for Tuesday’s draw and for your chance to become a winner, make sure you have your ticket(s) ready. EuroMillions tickets can either be purchased online via the EuroMillions Play page or in person from an authorised retailer.
