Spanish Ticket Scoops £60.6 Million EuroMillions Jackpot

A Spanish player brought an end to a run of seven EuroMillions rollovers by snapping up £60.6 million (€83.2 million) in the draw on Friday 18th December.  The ticket holder is Spain’s 75th jackpot winner, bolstering their nation’s standing as the second most successful participating EuroMillions country, behind France on 78. The UK’s biggest winners on the night were a player who scooped £349,463 (€457,291) for matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star and the Millionaire Maker winner of £1 million.

The EuroMillions results were 6, 22, 26, 29 and 48 with Lucky Stars 5 and 6 and other prizes won on the night ranged from £3.30 (€4.36) for matching two main balls, up to £51,772 (€67,746) for matching five main numbers. Christmas week will be extra special for UK EuroMillions players, with the usual Mega Friday excitement boosted to become a Mega Week celebration.
