French EuroMillions Player Wins Second Tier Prize Worth Over €1 Million

Luck was in the air for one French EuroMillions ticket holder in Friday’s draw after they became the only player to match all five main numbers and one Lucky Star. The ticket holder took home the entire second tier prize worth an impressive €1,515,237 which, as there was no jackpot winner, was the largest prize won in Friday’s draw.

This win comes exactly one week after one UK player achieved the same feat and brings the total number of single second tier winners so far this year to five.

Joining the fortunate €1.5 million winner in Friday’s draw were more than 2.3 million ticket holders who took home prizes ranging from £3.10 (€4.40) for matching just two main numbers, up to £58,982 (€84,179) for matching all five main numbers. Another French ticket holder struck it lucky in the My Million draw after they matched the code KE9002201 to win the €1 million prize while a UK ticket holder scooped the £1 million Millionaire Raffle prize by matching the code CGF144036.

The complete prize breakdown from Friday’s draw can be found on the EuroMillions Results page.

Following Friday’s draw with no top tier winner, tomorrow night’s EuroMillions draw offers a £39 million (€48 million) jackpot. There has only been one jackpot winner so far this month so it will be interesting to see if any player can match the winning numbers to become the second EuroMillions top tier winner of May 2014. To be in with a chance of winning a prize, make sure you’ve got your tickets for tomorrow’s draw.

EuroMillions tickets can be purchased online through the Buy Tickets page or in person from an authorised retailer.
