Third Largest EuroMillions Jackpot of the Year on Offer Tonight

All eyes are on tonight’s EuroMillions draw as there is a supersized jackpot of £85 million (€105 million) to play for. This impressive jackpot is the third largest seen so far this year and is the result of nine consecutive draws without a top tier winner.

The last time EuroMillions players had the chance to compete for a jackpot worth more than £85 million (€105 million) was in March 2014 when the top prize reached an impressive £107 million (€129 million). The lucky UK winner, Neil Trotter, matched all seven numbers in the draw on 14th March to secure the entire jackpot prize. 41-year-old Trotter accepted his prize publically, alongside his long-term partner Nicky Ottaway, and revealed he plans to buy a fleet of supercars.

So far this year, the EuroMillions jackpot has been won a total of ten times, with a total of 11 ticket holders correctly matching the winning combination. Spanish players have been the luckiest and secured five top tier wins over the past six months. France and the UK are in joint second place with two jackpot wins apiece while Spain and Switzerland are in third place with one jackpot win each. Failing to produce a 2014 top tier winner so far are Austria, Belgium, Portugal and Luxembourg and, it will be interesting to see if any of these countries can produce their first jackpot winner of the year.

The only way to be in with a chance of clinching tonight’s impressive top prize is to purchase a ticket. EuroMillions tickets are available to buy until 19.30 BST online through the Play EuroMillions page or in person from an authorised retailer.

Good luck and don’t forget to check your tickets to see if you’ve struck it lucky!
