EuroMillions Triple Rollover Riches
Lottery players everywhere are excited about the fact that the month of February will start with a EuroMillions triple rollover jackpot that is estimated to be worth around €45 million (around £38 million) after no ticket won the top prize on Tuesday 31 January. The EuroMillions results for Tuesday were 09, 34, 38, 43 and 45, and the Lucky Star numbers were 02 and 04. One of those Lucky Stars (the number 04) was previously highlighted as being most overdue to appear, so we’re glad that it did. Maybe on Friday even more overdue numbers will show up to help someone land those EuroMillions triple rollover riches! - (2nd February 2012)
Month Ends with EuroMillions Double Rollover
The first month of 2012 will end with a EuroMillions double-rollover jackpot game after no player managed to win the top prize on Friday 27 January. The main numbers drawn last Friday were 10, 13, 19, 39 and 44, and the Lucky Star numbers were 02 and 06. The jackpot weighed in at €26.63 million (£22.38 million) so the next jackpot this Tuesday 31 January will have an estimated value of around €33 million (around £28 million). Whether this double-rollover jackpot will be landed on Tuesday or will roll over yet again to the first game of February remains to be seen. - (30th January 2012)
British EuroMillions Winners Go Public
Yesterday we brought you news that a lottery ticket purchased in the UK won the EuroMillions jackpot on Friday 20 January, and we can now tell you that the winning ticket was bought by a couple who live in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. Gareth and Catherine Bull are now €48,895,464 (£40,627,241) richer than they were a week ago, and what makes their success even more remarkable is the fact that Gareth only bought the ticket because rain was making it impossible for him to do his work as a self-employed builder. - (24th January 2012)
Brit Lands EuroMillions Jackpot
A EuroMillions jackpot worth €48,895,464 (£40,627,241) was landed by a Brit (or a syndicate of Brits) in the game last Friday 20 January. The winning ticket matched all five main numbers (02, 10, 22, 27 and 28) as well as the two Lucky Star numbers (06 and 08) to finally stop the EuroMillions jackpot rolling any further – at least for the time being. That means the jackpot has now been reset to the standard €15 million (around £12 million) for the next draw this Tuesday 24 January. - (23rd January 2012)
EuroMillions Jackpot Rule Amendment
On Friday 17 February a EuroMillions jackpot rule amendment will be brought into force and this amendment will effectively guarantee that the jackpot fund is paid out when it has spent a certain amount of time at a certain level. There is already a jackpot cap in place which means that jackpots cannot be higher than €190 million, but right now it is possible for the jackpot to remain at that level for as long as rollovers continue to take place. It is also stated in the current rules that if this maximum jackpot of €190 million is won, the jackpot cap would be increased to €195 million from that point on. - (19th January 2012)
EuroMillions Players Console Themselves
EuroMillions players had to settle for consolation prizes once again on Friday 13 January because nobody succeeded in winning the jackpot itself. The jackpot was worth €29.2 million (£24.1 million) so it is estimated that the jackpot for the next EuroMillions game this Tuesday 17 January will be worth around €35 million (around £28 million). The main EuroMillions results last Friday were 13, 14, 21, 27 and 39, and the all-important Lucky Star numbers were 06 and 08. With the last two draws having resulted in rollovers, players will be hoping that the third time will be a charm as far as winning the jackpot is concerned. - (16th January 2012)
Friday EuroMillions Rollover Game
This Friday 13 January the EuroMillions lottery game will offer a rollover jackpot of around €28 million (which is around £23 million for players in the UK) after no player won the jackpot in the last game on Tuesday 10 January. The EuroMillions results in Tuesday’s draw were 04, 09, 10, 30 and 40, and the Lucky Star numbers were 02 and 09. As always, there were plenty of non-jackpot winners, with more than 1.82 million tickets matching enough numbers to win a consolation prize of some sort. - (12th January 2012)
Two Tickets Win EuroMillions Jackpot
Two tickets matched all seven numbers required to win the EuroMillions jackpot on Friday 6 January, and although we don’t yet know exactly who owns those tickets, we do know that they were purchased in France and Spain. The jackpot had a final value of €73,113,564 (£60,355,247) so each of the winning tickets is now worth €36,556,782 (£30,177,623). In the UK, one ticket won £1 million by matching the Millionaire Raffle number CXD737171. - (9th January 2012)
Massive Jackpot for Aspiring EuroMillionaires
There will be a massive jackpot for aspiring EuroMillionaires to play for this Friday 6 January because the EuroMillions top prize rolled over for the fifth time in a row on Tuesday. The main numbers draw in the EuroMillions game on Tuesday 3 January were 03, 30, 42, 45 and 49, and the two Lucky Star numbers were 05 and 10. After no player matched those numbers the jackpot rolled, so the top prize this Friday will be worth an estimated €73 million (around £60 million)! - (5th January 2012)
EuroMillions Rolls into 2012
The EuroMillions jackpot last Friday 30 December has rolled over to the first draw of 2012, giving players an exciting opportunity to win a whopping €58 million (£46 million) this Tuesday 03 January. Whilst it would have been nice to report that someone won the jackpot in the last EuroMillions game of 2011, announcing that players have the chance to win €58 million within a couple of days of 2012 getting underway is a pretty good alternative. Just think about it for a moment – if you buy a ticket online today and your numbers come up on Tuesday, you would be able to live the rest of this year and beyond as one of the wealthiest people in the world! - (2nd January 2012)
Year Ends with EuroMillions Triple Rollover
The last EuroMillions game of 2011 will offer a massive triple rollover jackpot worth around €50 million (£40 million) after no ticket matched all of the numbers drawn on Tuesday 27 December. The main numbers drawn in the Tuesday EuroMillions game were 19, 21, 25, 26 and 44, and the Lucky Star numbers were 03 and 07. One ticket matched the five main numbers and one of the two Lucky Stars to win a second-tier consolation prize worth €1,090,269, so the good news is that someone has already won themselves more than a million and now we all have the chance to win €50 million on Friday 30 December! - (29th December 2011)
El Gordo Delivers as EuroMillions Rolls Again
Villagers in Grañén, Spain, are celebrating after an El Gordo ticket purchased by 1,800 residents won the top prize of €700 million (£600 million) on Thursday 22 December. That jackpot figure equates to around €400,000 (£334,000) per winning player, so it is a fairly good bet that the New Year celebrations will be extra special in Grañén this weekend. There will also be plenty of celebrating done by other winners in the annual El Gordo game because the total amount of prize money won was around €2 billion (around £1.6 billion). No wonder the name El Gordo means The Fat One! - (26th December 2011)
EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls for Christmas
The only thing better than winning a EuroMillions jackpot just before Christmas would be winning a EuroMillions rollover jackpot, and that is exactly what players have a chance to do in the game this Friday 23 December. No player matched all five main numbers (01, 09, 12, 14 and 48) as well as both Lucky Stars (01 and 07) on Tuesday 20 December and so the rollover jackpot this Friday is estimated to be worth around €29 million (around £25 million). - (22nd December 2011)
Spanish Ticket Wins EuroMillions Jackpot
A single ticket purchased in Spain won the EuroMillions jackpot on Friday 16 December, giving the winner a fortune of €46,576,447 (£39,175,449). The jackpot was over three times higher than the base value because it had rolled over in each of the last three draws. The EuroMillions results that brought the current sequence of rollovers to an end were 02, 05, 10, 23 and 31, along with the Lucky Star numbers 02 and 05. The jackpot for the next EuroMillions game this Tuesday 20 December has now been reset to the usual €15 million minimum. - (19th December 2011)
Only Five 2011 Draws Left for EuroMillions Players
There are only five EuroMillions lottery draws to go before the end of the year, so players who want to win themselves multi-millionaire status in 2011 will need to make the most of the opportunities that remain. The midweek draw on Tuesday 13 December produced 07, 12, 18, 33 and 37 as the main numbers, and 01 and 11 as the Lucky Star numbers. The jackpot had reached €34.2 million (£28.9 million) but no player won that top prize, so it has rolled over to the next game this Friday 16 December, when it is expected to be worth around €46 million (around £38 million). - (15th December 2011)
EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls Again
The EuroMillions jackpot rolled over for a second consecutive time last Friday 9 December, so the draw this Tuesday 13 December will offer a double rollover jackpot worth around €33 million (around £28 million). The main numbers selected in Friday’s draw were 12, 21, 29, 44 and 47, with 01 and 02 being drawn as the Lucky Stars. Although no ticket won the jackpot outright, six came very close to doing so, and each of those won €295,613 (£204,997) for matching the five main numbers and one Lucky Star. - (12th December 2011)
Millionaire Raffle Winners Go Public
On 25 November the Millionaire Raffle game in the UK created 18 winning tickets worth £1,000,000 each. So far the owners of three of those winning tickets have decided to share their stories with the general public, and we are therefore delighted to now tell you a little more about each one. Those of you who play EuroMillions in the UK will no doubt be inspired to get involved in the next special Millionaire Raffle game on 23 December, which will create another 25 winning tickets. And for those of you who play EuroMillions in any other country, the following stories may inspire you to buy tickets for the EuroMillions game this Friday 9 December, which will offer a jackpot of around €26 million (around £22 million). - (8th December 2011)
EuroMillions Jackpot for French Player
A EuroMillions ticket purchased in France matched all of the numbers required to win the jackpot last Friday 2 December, which was definitely a coup de chance for whoever owns it! We don’t know yet if the owner is an individual player or a lottery syndicate, but the jackpot win was worth €27,094,319 (£23,341,756) so either way there is more than enough cash in the kitty to merit a massive celebration. The numbers which made the win possible were 07, 27, 30, 40 and 43, along with the Lucky Stars 08 and 09. - (5th December 2011)
EuroMillions Christmas Countdown Begins
December is here at last, and that means our traditional EuroMillions Christmas countdown can now begin. Whilst children everywhere will be content to count down to Christmas with an advent calendar, lottery-playing adults can have much more fun participating in the seven EuroMillions draws that take place between now and Christmas day. The first of those draws will be held this Friday 2 December and the jackpot for that draw will be worth around €26 million (around £22 million) thanks to a rollover on Tuesday 29 November. - (1st December 2011)
Portuguese Ticket Scoops EuroMillions Jackpot
One Portuguese lottery ticket scooped the EuroMillions jackpot on Friday 25 November, making the lucky owner €35,062,896 (£30,126,040) richer than they were before. The EuroMillions results which changed the life of that winner forever were 14, 19, 26, 28 and 34, with 05 and 08 being drawn as the Lucky Star numbers. There were more than 3.51 million EuroMillions prizes won in total, and in the UK an additional 18 prizes of £1 million each were awarded via the special Millionaire Raffle game that we mentioned in our previous news item. - (28th November 2011)
UK Players Anticipate Millionaires Month
EuroMillions players in the UK are eagerly anticipating a Millionaires Month event that starts this Friday 25 November and runs through to Friday 23 December. This event focuses on the UK-only Millionaire Raffle game that usually awards one prize of £1 million in each draw, but on the two specific dates just mentioned the number of £1 million prizes will be increased to 18 and 25, respectively. Millionaire Raffle draws which take place between those two dates will continue to create one millionaire each, so a total of 50 players in the UK are guaranteed to become millionaires before Christmas regardless of how they fare with the EuroMillions jackpots themselves. - (23rd November 2011)
EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls to Tuesday
The EuroMillions jackpot in the game on Friday 18 November wasn’t quite as cooperative as players had hoped because no ticket managed to match all five main numbers (04, 12, 24, 39 and 44) as well as both Lucky Star numbers (02 and 04). That means the jackpot has rolled to the next game scheduled for this Tuesday 22 November, where the top prize will be worth around €21 million (around £18 million for lottery players in the UK). - (21st November 2011)
One Ticket Lands EuroMillions Jackpot
One ticket landed the EuroMillions jackpot on Friday 11 November, giving the lucky owner (or owners if the ticket turns out to belong to a lottery syndicate) a massive prize of €67,939,184 (£58,162,735). The EuroMillions results which prevented the jackpot from rolling again were 01, 04, 18, 23 and 30, and the Lucky Stars were 03 and 07. The date 11/11/11 was viewed in some quarters as being particularly auspicious, and for the jackpot winner in the EuroMillions game it really was! - (14th November 2011)
Mega Jackpots for EuroMillions Players
EuroMillions lottery players who are eagerly waiting for the chance to win an estimated €66 million (around £57 million) in the draw this Friday 11 November (yes, the jackpot rolled over for the fifth time in a row) could do a lot worse than to spend some time at the EuroMillions Casino. The Mega Jackpots game there currently boasts a progressive jackpot worth more than £3.1 million, so if Lady Luck is on your side you just might be able to win yourself multi-millionaire status no matter how your numbers fare in the EuroMillions lottery game itself. - (10th November 2011)
Quadruple Rollover Jackpot for EuroMillions Fans
EuroMillions fans will be able to play for a massive quadruple rollover jackpot of around €53 million (that’s around £46 million for lottery players in the UK) this Tuesday after no ticket managed to win the top prize last Friday. The EuroMillions Results on Friday 4 November were 11, 14, 41, 43 and 50, and the Lucky Star numbers were 02 and 09. Although the jackpot itself wasn’t won, players did land more than 2.9 million other prizes, and that doesn’t include the £1 million prize won by the UK player who matched the Millionaire Raffle number NSX597128. - (7th November 2011)
Rollover Jackpot Eludes EuroMillions Players
The rollover jackpot eluded EuroMillions players in the game on Friday 28 October. The main numbers drawn in that game were 16, 17, 20, 39 and 50, and the Lucky Star numbers were 04 and 08. The jackpot was worth €26.9 million (£23.7 million) but because no player matched all five main numbers plus both Lucky Stars, the sum has been rolled over, giving the jackpot in the next game this Tuesday 1 November an estimated value of €33 million (around £29 million). - (31st October 2011)
Two Share Triple Rollover Jackpot
A €47.99 million EuroMillions triple rollover jackpot was won by two tickets on Friday 21 October, giving each one an equal share worth €23,999,325 (£20,841,014). Less than a decade ago the idea of winning an eight figure lottery jackpot in Europe would have sounded outlandish, but thanks to EuroMillions it is now a fact of life for lottery players. In fact, as last Friday’s draw demonstrated, it is possible to share the EuroMillions jackpot with another winner and still take home an eight-figure prize, and we think that this is something which none of us should take for granted. - (24th October 2011)
Another EuroMillions Triple Rollover
There will be another EuroMillions triple rollover jackpot to play for this Friday 21 October and this time it will have an estimated value of €47 million (around £41 million). Of course, the triple rollover jackpot is only available because no ticket won the jackpot last Tuesday 18 October, but over 1.6 million non-jackpot prizes were won by players, so all was not lost by any means. The main numbers drawn in the EuroMillions game last Tuesday were 18, 23, 37, 46 and 48, and the Lucky Star numbers drawn were 02 and 10. - (20th October 2011)
Tuesday EuroMillions Double Rollover
There will be a double rollover jackpot of around €34 million (around £30 million) on offer in the Tuesday EuroMillions game this week after no ticket won the top prize on Friday 14 October. The EuroMillions results last Friday were 12, 23, 29, 32 and 47, and the Lucky Star numbers were 03 and 05, and whilst nobody won the jackpot itself there were over 3.23 million prizes won at the lower prize levels. In addition, one EuroMillions player in the UK won £1 million by matching the Millionaire Raffle number GRG285911. - (17th October 2011)
EuroMillions Jackpot Excitement Continues
It’s been quite a hectic week or so in the world of EuroMillions. Last Friday 07 October a single ticket scooped the €117 million (£101 million) jackpot that had rolled over from the previous Superdraw game, and on Monday of this week the jackpot winners went public and were named as Dave and Angela Dawes. Then, as if to keep excitement levels at fever pitch, the €15 million jackpot on Tuesday 11 October rolled over, which means that we have another rollover jackpot of around €27 million (around £23 million) to try and win this Friday 14 October. - (13th October 2011)
Euromillions Winners Announced as Dave and Angela Dawes from Wisbech
Following the news that a UK couple have claimed the Euromillions jackpot of £101 million for Friday 7th October, lottery players from around Europe were asking themselves, who won Friday’s Euromillions? Well, we can reveal that the lucky couple are Dave and Angela Dawes from Wisbech in Cambridgeshire. The couple were the only winners in Friday’s draw and scooped £101,203,600.70, an impressive jackpot from this pan-European lottery. - (11th October 2011)
Single Ticket Scoops Jackpot
A single ticket scooped the EuroMillions jackpot on Friday 7 October and we can tell you that the winning ticket was purchased in the UK. The final value of the jackpot – which had rolled over from the previous Superdraw game – was €117,705,979, which equates to £101,203,601 in pounds sterling. The EuroMillions results which delivered this colossal prize were 18, 26, 34, 38 and 42, along with the Lucky Star numbers 05 and 08. Now that the jackpot has been won the top prize in the next EuroMillions game this Tuesday 11 October will have a base value of €15 million (around £12 million). - (10th October 2011)
Another Nine-Figure EuroMillions Jackpot
Lottery players will have the chance to play for another nine-figure EuroMillions jackpot this Friday 7 October after the €100 million EuroMillions Superdraw jackpot on Tuesday 4 October rolled over. The main EuroMillions results drawn last Tuesday were 14, 16, 23, 38 and 45, and the Lucky Stars were 08 and 11. The estimated jackpot for the next game is a whopping €119 million (around £100 million), so anyone who appreciates value for money will definitely want to get involved. - (6th October 2011)
Tuesday Superdraw Follows Triple Payout
The €100 million EuroMillions Superdraw on Tuesday 4 October will come just a couple of days after three tickets shared the triple rollover jackpot on Friday 30 September. The main numbers drawn in the game last Friday were 05, 15, 28, 31 and 44, and the Lucky Star numbers were 01 and 06. The jackpot was worth €48,578,056 (around £41,738,266) so each winning ticket (two of which were purchased by players in Belgium) now has a value of €16,192,686. Normally the jackpot would be reset to €15 million after such a win, but because a Superdraw had already been scheduled for the next draw this Tuesday, the jackpot will be worth €100 million (around £85 million). - (3rd October 2011)
Triple Rollover for EuroMillions Jackpot
Hopes – and ticket sales – are running high for the chance to win tonight’s EuroMillions jackpot! It’s a triple rollover for lottery fans as this September’s last EuroMillions draw offers an estimated top prize of £41/€48 million, and what better way to end on a high than ending the month with this incredible amount? With Belgium and Spain already taking home two jackpot prizes earlier this month, will any of the other participating countries result in a top prize winner? If not, then we could end up with a quadruple rollover… - (30th September 2011)
EuroMillions Double Rollover Delight
EuroMillions players who equate bigger jackpots with increasing levels of excitement and better value for money will be delighted to hear that there is a double rollover jackpot to be won this Tuesday 27 September. The previous jackpot of €27.4 million (around £23.9 million) rolled over because no player succeeded in matching all five main numbers (06, 14, 33, 34 and 48) as well as the two Lucky Star numbers (02 and 06). The value of the double rollover jackpot in the coming game on Tuesday is therefore estimated to be worth around €34 million (around £30 million). - (26th September 2011)
EuroMillions Superdraw Announced for October
A EuroMillions Superdraw has been announced for October, giving lottery players everywhere the chance to play for a guaranteed jackpot of €100 million. The Superdraw will be held on Tuesday 4 October, so fans of midweek games will be especially pleased with this scheduling. Of course, because there is certain to be a nine figure jackpot up for grabs it is highly likely that many ‘Friday only’ EuroMillions players will choose to deviate from their routine and play the Tuesday game too, and we wouldn’t blame them in the slightest! - (22nd September 2011)
EuroMillions Jackpot Back to Back Payouts
EuroMillions players who have just started getting used to extended series of rollovers may have been surprised to see that the jackpot on Friday 16 September was won by a single ticket purchased in Belgium, making it two back-to-back jackpot payouts in a row. The EuroMillions results which made the lucky winner €15 million (around £13.1 million) richer were 02, 08, 17, 39 and 42, along with the Lucky Star numbers 03 and 10. As is always the case after a jackpot win, the top prize in the next EuroMillions game this Tuesday 20 September will once again be worth €15 million. - (19th September 2011)
