It's a Double Rollover!

Nobody won the EuroMillions jackpot last week, so we have a double rollover jackpot worth €42 million (around £36 million) to look forward to this Friday 10 July, 2009. The odds of winning the top prize are the same as always, but the prize itself is three times bigger than the minimum, so it could easily be argued that the double rollover gives use just as much extra value!

Whilst the five main numbers and both Lucky Stars eluded all EuroMillions players last Friday, there were plenty of near-misses. Four players missed out by just one Lucky Star number and won a second-tier consolation prize worth €753,930 (around £650,011) each. Another nine players matched the five main numbers only and won €95,090 (around £81,983) each. Overall, there were 1,484,279 prizes won by EuroMillions players all over the globe.

Although everyone missed out on the jackpot last week, the good news is that we have a much bigger jackpot to aim for this Friday. If you play EuroMillions online then you don’t even need to be in a participating country to take part, and your chance of winning is exactly the same as it would be if you queued for ages to buy your tickets in person.

Will this Friday be the day when you win a double rollover EuroMillions jackpot? The only way to find out is to buy your tickets and check the EuroMillions results just as soon as the draw has taken place!
