Finally, over a week after we suggested that there might be a EuroMillions superdraw taking place in March, the fact has been confirmed. The superdraw will take place on Friday 6 March, 2009, when a megajackpot of €100,000,000 (around £85 million) will be up for grabs!
Previous EuroMillions superdraw megajackpots have been guaranteed, which meant that if they weren’t won they were rolled down to the next prize level that had winning players. In the last three guaranteed superdraws it rolled down every time, disappointing those who were looking forward to a spectacular jackpot payout to just one or two players.
This time, the Euro Millions Superdraw jackpot can roll over to the draw on Friday 13 March if it isn’t won, and if that happens it could create the biggest EuroMillions jackpot of all time. Of course, those of us who will be playing on Friday 6 March will be hoping that the jackpot is won in full on the night in question. Good luck in getting the EuroMillions results that you want!
