France and Spain are the only two countries to have claimed a EuroMillions jackpot in 2014 but this recent win leaves France trailing, with just half as many wins to boast about.
The run of luck continued for Spain, as another Spanish player managed to match all five main numbers but just one Lucky Star. They joined a second European ticket holder who accomplished the same feat and each took home a second tier prize worth £657,300 (€797,418).
Wins in the lower prize tiers included six prizes of £61,031,60 (€88,602) for matching five main numbers and 62 prizes of £2,953.10 (€4,287.10) for matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars. A further 2,457,280 players won prizes worth between £3.20 (€4.60) for matching just two main numbers and £154 (€223.60) for matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star.
