The EuroMillions triple rollover jackpot that was up for grabs on Friday 09 January, 2009, was won by a single player. The jackpot was worth a staggering €57,199,762 (around £50,993,587), making whoever won an extremely wealthy person!
In addition to the jackpot winner, a further thirteen players matched five main numbers and just one of the two Lucky Star numbers to scoop a prize of €298,391 (around £269,087) each.
The EuroMillions jackpot has now been reset to €15 million (around £13 million) for the next draw on Friday 16 January, 2009.
