The draw on Tuesday 12th May was the seventh in a row without a winner, as nobody matched the full set of numbers - 9, 16, 29, 37 and 39, plus Lucky Stars 4 and 11. However, it was still a memorable night for more than one million players who picked up prizes.

The jackpot has been growing since Manchester man Ryan Hoyle scooped £58 million on Friday 17th April. The last time that a larger top prize was available was back on 7th February, when a Superdraw offered €130 million (£110 million). A Spanish player won the full amount on the night.
A total of eight jackpots have been won since the start of the year. Two of those winners have come from the UK, two from Portugal, and one each from France, Ireland, Spain and Luxembourg. The UK has been the most successful country in EuroMillions history with 106 jackpot wins.
Spanish Ticket Sales to Resume
While draws have continued every Tuesday and Friday as normal, ticket sales in Spain have been suspended since 15th March due to the coronavirus. Loterías y Apuestas del Estado (SELAE), which runs EuroMillions in Spain, halted operations after the country went into lockdown.
However, with restrictions now easing, it has been announced that sales will resume. The exact date has not yet been confirmed as it will depend on how the government’s de-escalation plan develops, but SELAE has said that tickets will either go on sale again on Monday 18th May or Saturday 23rd May. Spanish players will then have the chance to buy tickets for the next multimillion-euro jackpot.
