EuroMillions Results for Tuesday 29th March 2016

A EuroMillions jackpot of £23.7 million (€30.1 million) spurred players from all corners of Europe to pick up tickets for the draw on Tuesday 29th March, but nobody was quite able to match the complete winning line. It was still a magnificent night for many players, however, and the top prize will now grow to an estimated £31 million (€39 million) for the next game on Friday.

The EuroMillions numbers drawn were 1, 4, 19, 25 and 36 with Lucky Stars 3 and 11. The biggest winners of the night were the three players who matched five main numbers plus one Lucky Star to claim €308,454 each, while the other prizes given away spanned between £2.70 (€3.80) for matching two main numbers and £37,214 (€51,409) for matching five main numbers. In total there were over 1.5 million ticket holders from across the continent who snapped up prizes, with Spain emerging as the most successful participating country after more than €3 million was shared between 360,958 players, including two in the Match Five Plus One Lucky Star tier. The UK had 349,694 participants who won a combined £1.7 million, while in France €1.9 million was split 284,632 ways.

March might have ended with three consecutive rollovers, but it has nevertheless been an extraordinary month for lots of players and the first draw of April promises to change more lives.
