EuroMillions Jackpot for French Player

A EuroMillions ticket purchased in France matched all of the numbers required to win the jackpot last Friday 2 December, which was definitely a coup de chance for whoever owns it! We don’t know yet if the owner is an individual player or a lottery syndicate, but the jackpot win was worth €27,094,319 (£23,341,756) so either way there is more than enough cash in the kitty to merit a massive celebration. The numbers which made the win possible were 07, 27, 30, 40 and 43, along with the Lucky Stars 08 and 09.

Two tickets won a second-tier prize of €907,074 (£629,166) each by matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star, and nine other tickets matched the five main numbers only to win a third-tier prize of €67,191 (£46,604) each. The total number of EuroMillions prizes won last Friday was 2,907,514, and in the UK one player won £1 million by matching the Millionaire Raffle number XVZ459004.

Just one of the ‘most overdue’ numbers highlighted in our previous news item made an appearance on Friday, and that was the main number 07. The most overdue main numbers are now 03, 13, 10, 21 and 49, whilst the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are still 06 and 10. Because the jackpot was landed last Friday, the jackpot in the next game this Tuesday 6 December will be worth €15 million (around £12 million).

We are only six EuroMillions draws away from Christmas, so anyone who fancies emulating the success of the latest jackpot winner in France before Santa arrives would do well to participate in all of them. You can of course enter your numbers for up to eight consecutive draws in advance, so if you did that you would be entered into every draw up to and including the draw on Friday 30 December.

Whether you play EuroMillions online for each draw individually or for a series of draws covering the whole of the festive period, enjoy the games and good luck!
