EuroMillions Jackpot Surges Past £100 Million Mark

A sensational EuroMillions jackpot will be up for grabs on Tuesday night after another rollover on Friday pushed the top prize up to an estimated £101 million (€115 million). It is the third time this year that the jackpot has gone past the £100 million mark, and players across Europe now have the chance to win a fabulous amount of money just in time for Christmas.

EuroMillions Prizes

The EuroMillions jackpot has been rolling over for more than a month, since a group of Welsh catering girls scooped £25.4 million on Friday 3rd November. There have continued to be many big winners over the past few weeks, with over 2.4 million prizes given away in total on Friday night alone, but the jackpot has remained elusive.

You can visit the EuroMillions Results page to see a list of all the recent winning numbers and find out if you are due a prize. UK players have 180 days to come forward and receive their money, while anyone who plays online is automatically notified of a win.

One player who recently won £90,744 is an electrician from Nottingham, known as Mr L. He matched five main numbers plus one Lucky Star in the EuroMillions draw on Tuesday 24th October, and is now looking forward to paying off his mortgage.

Online players have the option to release a few details about their story through partial publicity, and the National Lottery’s senior winners’ advisor Andy Carter has sent ‘huge congratulations to Mr L for winning this fantastic prize without even touching a ticket’.

Big EuroMillions Jackpots

The last time the EuroMillions jackpot was higher was in the autumn. A Superdraw on Friday 15th September increased the top prize to a guaranteed €130 million, and then a series of rollovers ensured that the jackpot hit its €190 million cap.

The jackpot was eventually won on Friday 6th October by a Spanish participant, who bought their ticket on the island of Gran Canaria and became the joint-largest winner in EuroMillions history.

If you want to land the latest nine-figure jackpot, you can either visit an authorised retailer in one of the nine participating countries or choose numbers online. If you bet on EuroMillions at Jackpot.com during December you will also receive a free Scratchcard by using the special promo code displayed in the banner above. Good luck!
