The EuroMillions lottery jackpot has rolled over yet again, giving us a triple rollover jackpot to look forward to on Friday 27 June. Last week’s draw resulted in two players matching the five main numbers and just one of the two Lucky Star numbers to win €1,547,963 each. A further six players matched the five main numbers only and won €146,429 each.
Buy EuroMillions tickets from the USTriple rollovers aren’t particular rare in a lottery such as EuroMillions because the odds of winning the top prize are fairly small (1 in 76,275,360 compared with 1 in 13,983,816 for a 6 from 49 game such as the UK’s Lotto). However, when you consider how large the EuroMillions jackpot is to begin with (never less than €15 million) even a few rollovers soon generates a top prize that would make a single winner as wealthy as many movie stars.
The estimated jackpot for Friday is around €59 million (that’s around £46 million for our British readers), so if you won the whole amount by matching five main numbers and both Lucky Star numbers, you’d have the same kind of wealth as the likes of Will Smith, David Beckham and Michael Jordan.
Of course, with the EuroMillions jackpot growing fast, demand for lottery tickets is also increasing. If you don’t fancy the idea of queuing in a retail store you can make your life easier by purchasing your tickets online. This is well worth bearing in mind anyway as online tickets can’t be lost or stolen, but when jackpots are large it’s especially useful.
