Rollover Record
As well as being the UK’s two biggest winners, the Weirs and Bayford also have another thing in common - they both won their jackpots after there had been 14 straight rollovers. The jackpot has never rolled over 15 times in a row.
Tuesday’s rollover was the 14th in succession, so if the jackpot remains out of reach tonight it will be the longest sequence without a win since the game was launched in 2004. UK players will be hoping that history repeats itself, though, and a run of 14 rollovers is followed once again by a huge British win.
