21:37 - There were more than 3.4 million winning tickets in tonight’s draw. The biggest winners were the seven players who matched five numbers and one Lucky Star. Thanks to the jackpot cap and resulting rolldown, they each won £1.7 million / €2.2 million. Five of these lucky players came from the UK, while the other two came from Spain.
21:15 - Don’t be too disappointed that Friday’s Superdraw has been postponed; the current €190 million jackpot is guaranteed to be won in the next two draws. Never before in the history of EuroMillions could that be said. The jackpot will either get won on Friday or it will roll over to Tuesday 8th when a Must Be Won draw will take place.

19:45 - To pre-empt your next question: what happens if the jackpot isn’t won tonight? In that instance:
- the jackpot will remain at €190 million for Friday’s draw;
- Friday’s Superdraw will be postponed;
- the money that is planned to boost the jackpot to €100 million for the Superdraw will be held in reserve;
- another special event – probably a Superdraw but not necessarily – will take place in the near future; and
- a Must Be Won draw could potentially still go ahead on 8th October.
The dream scenario is that the jackpot is won tonight so Friday’s Superdraw can go ahead. You never know, if that happened another €190 million jackpot would only be a few rollovers away.
19:40 - This week could be a record-breaking week for EuroMillions players. Not only is there €190 million up for grabs in tonight’s draw, there is also a Superdraw scheduled to take place on Friday 4th October, offering a guaranteed jackpot of €100 million. That means jackpot prize money totalling €290 million could be won by the weekend; it would be the first time in EuroMillions history that such an amount would be won in one week.

19:15 - If the jackpot isn’t won before, that vital rolldown draw will take place on Tuesday 8th October. Put the date in your diary.
19:10 - Tonight’s draw is the third at the cap and rules state that it can only go a maximum of five draws before it must be won. In that fifth draw, all the prize money will be given away, even if no one matches all five numbers and both Lucky Stars. If no one does match all the numbers, the prize money will be split between players in the second tier – that’s on top of the prize money they would usually get.
18:52 - Those prizes were much bigger than usual because the jackpot has hit its cap of €190 million. As the top prize can’t increase any more, any further funds that would have usually gone towards increasing the jackpot are instead used for a ‘rolldown’ to boost the prizes in the second tier. That has resulted in prizes worth around 15 times more than they are usually worth.
18:45 - There have been plenty of big winners in recent draws. In the last one on Friday 27th September, four players matched five numbers and one Lucky Star – just one Lucky Star off the jackpot. They will have been very pleased nevertheless, as they took home prizes worth over £3.5 million / €4.6 million each.

18:30 - Speaking of unclaimed prizes, there are currently five Millionaire Maker prizes of £1 million set to expire before the year’s end. The soonest deadline is 27th October, after which a prize of £1 million won in the draw on 30th April will expire.

18:24 - If you win tonight’s jackpot you probably won’t waste any time claiming it, but it’s worth knowing how long you have to do so. The claim period differs by country, from 60 days in France and Luxembourg to a full three years in Austria. In the UK you have 180 days. The Rules page shows the claim period for each participating country.
17:50 - Make sure you don’t leave it until the last minute to get your tickets. Over 55 million entries were bought in stores and online for the last draw on Friday 27th September; don’t let queues or technical issues undo your chance of becoming one of EuroMillions’ biggest ever winners.
17:15 - A few things you should know. Firstly, ticket sales close at 7.30pm UK time so you’ll want to have your entry in hand before then. The draw will take place at around 8.00pm, with the winning numbers being confirmed right here soon after. At around 9.00pm we’ll know if there has been a jackpot winner or if we can expect another draw at the jackpot cap.
