£111 Million EuroMillions Superdraw Jackpot Won in UK

The winning numbers for Friday 25th September were 11, 12, 15, 38 and 49, with Lucky Stars 10 and 12. More than 2.8 million players across Europe picked up prizes, and there were some great wins in every country. The biggest celebrations were seen in the UK, where one lucky ticket holder matched all the numbers to pocket the jackpot. No more information was released about the winner immediately after the draw. They now have 180 days to claim their money, while they must decide whether to stay anonymous or go public with their identity and story.

Friday’s jackpot had been boosted by almost €100 million from the €37.6 million that went unwon three days earlier - an incredible increase that shows just why Superdraws are so popular. It would usually take several rollovers to build up to such an amount. 

Superdraws only take place a few times a year. In fact, the last one was all the way back in February when the jackpot kept climbing for a couple of weeks until a UK ticket holder landed £181 million (€209 million).

Another Superdraw had been scheduled for early June, but this time the jackpot was already higher by the time the big event came around so it was effectively postponed. Someone from Belgium eventually won €175 million.

As attention now turns towards the UK and when the latest winner will come forward, the jackpot will reset to €17 million (approximately £14 million) for Tuesday night’s draw. You can play via authorised retailers in any of the nine participating nations, or by choosing numbers online.
