EuroMillions Advance Purchase Changes

The number of draws for which you can buy EuroMillions lottery tickets in advance is currently four, and this will reduce further from this Saturday due to the impending launch of the new Tuesday EuroMillions game on Tuesday 10 May. From Saturday 16 April, you will only be able to buy tickets for up to three draws in advance, and then for up to two and just one draw in advance from subsequent Saturdays. Then, from Saturday 7 May, you will once again be able to buy tickets for multiple draws in advance, including the new Tuesday draws.

We are looking forward to the new Tuesday EuroMillions games, but in the meantime lottery players across Europe will be keen win a EuroMillions rollover jackpot of around €29 million (around £25 million) this week after no player succeeded in landing the top prize last Friday 8 April. The EuroMillions results last Friday were 21, 23, 38, 47 and 50, and the Lucky Star numbers were 02 and 06. None of those numbers were among those that had been previously highlighted as the ones ‘most overdue’ to make an appearance, so the most overdue numbers for the next draw remain 30, 31, 05, 16 and 40, and the most overdue Lucky Stars are 01 and 09.

Six players matched all five main numbers along with one Lucky Star number to win a second-tier prize worth €534,915 (around £357,456) each. Nine more players matched the five main numbers without either Lucky Star to win €101,200 (around £67,277) each. 111 players won €5,861 (around £3,917) each by matching four main numbers and both Lucky Star numbers, and the total number of EuroMillions prizes that were won exceeded 1.73 million. As usual, one player in the UK won £1 million by matching the Millionaire Raffle number, and last Friday that number was WQL674527.

There are four more regular EuroMillions draws to go before the new Tuesday draw is introduced, and we can reveal that the number of Lucky Stars used in the game from Tuesday 10 May will increase to 11. That means players will need to correctly select five main numbers from the range 1 to 50 and two Lucky Star numbers from the range 1 to 11 in order to win the jackpot. As we have said previously, this will make it a little harder to win the jackpot, but the addition of a 13th prize tier will improve the odds of winning any prize to a very impressive 1 in 13.

With no player landing the jackpot last Friday, the EuroMillions jackpot this week will be worth around twice as much, so players everywhere will be twice as keen to try and win it. Click here to buy your tickets today and good luck in the draw!
