In the EuroMillions game on Tuesday 28 August the main numbers drawn were 01, 18, 25, 26 and 44, with the numbers 04 and 05 appearing as the Lucky Stars. As we have already established, no ticket won the €15 million jackpot that was on offer, but three tickets did succeed in matching the five main numbers and one Lucky Star to pick up a consolation prize of €359,462 each. Eight tickets matched five main numbers only to win €44,933 (£32,140) each.
The fourth-tier prize level had 42 winning tickets that matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to land a prize of €4,279 (£3,061) each. 734 tickets won €214 (£153) each by matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star, and 1,341 tickets matched four main numbers only to win €117 (£83) each. More than 1.69 million other tickets won smaller prizes by matching fewer main numbers. In the UK one player won £1 million by matching the Millionaire Raffle number PHD207389.
None of the most-often picked numbers appeared on Tuesday, but one of the most overdue main numbers did, and that was the number 26. The most overdue main numbers now are 09, 41, 13, 47 and 30, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 06 and 11.
