EuroMillions Excitement Swells
16th July 2012 10:12 AM
Excitement about the EuroMillions jackpot is at even higher levels than it was this time last week because once again – for the seventh draw running – no ticket purchased for the game on Friday matched all seven of the numbers that were drawn. The jackpot itself beat the advertised estimations, weighing in at €76.6 million (£60.3 million) but now that it has rolled again the jackpot for the midweek EuroMillions game this Tuesday will be even bigger, at around €85 million (around £67 million).
The main numbers drawn in the EuroMillions game on Friday 13 July were 08, 18, 25, 35 and 46, with the numbers 04 and 09 being selected as the Lucky Stars. 10 tickets matched all five main numbers plus one Lucky Star to win €230,433 (£167,444) each, and 13 others won €59,085 (£42,934) each by matching five main numbers only.
93 tickets matched four main numbers plus both Lucky Star numbers to win €4,130 (£3,001) each, and there were more than 3.6 million additional tickets that won a prize across the nine lower consolation prize levels. The winning Millionaire Raffle number (which was worth £1 million to the UK player with the same number) was YWH529412.
Once again, we should remind UK players that it is now possible to secure a guaranteed entry in the special 100 Millionaire Raffle game that will take place on Friday 27 July. Simply enter your numbers in advance for the draws on the next two Fridays and you can rest easy in the knowledge that you are in with a chance of being one of the lucky winners.
EuroMillions Statistics fans will have been pleased to see the most overdue Lucky Star number 04 make an appearance on Friday, so the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are now 02 and 05. The most overdue main numbers remain unchanged, so the numbers to look out for in that respect are 23, 45, 33, 06 and 09.
The opportunity to land a lottery jackpot of €85 million doesn’t come along every week, so if you fancy taking advantage of this one, play EuroMillions here today and good luck!
