EuroMillions Fans Play for Compensation

None of the tickets bought for the EuroMillions game on Tuesday 4 June were able to land the rollover jackpot, so participants will no doubt want to play for compensation in the special game this Friday. For those of you who weren’t already aware, the EuroMillions draw this Friday 7 June will be offering a guaranteed jackpot of €100 million (around £80 million) so there will be plenty of cash in the prize pool for anyone who is lucky enough to match a winning combination of numbers.

The midweek jackpot had a final value of just over €22 million (£19 million), but because the next game will be offering a special jackpot of €100 million anyway, the rollover won’t have any effect on the top prize this Friday. The EuroMillions results that scuppered the plans of jackpot-hunters on Tuesday 4 June were 31, 33, 34, 37 and 40, along with the Lucky Star numbers 01 and 06.

Four EuroMillions players won a second level prize of €273,475 (£185,955) each by matching all five of the main numbers plus one Lucky Star, whilst another nine players matched five main numbers only to secure a third level prize of €40,515 each. There were 26 tickets that matched four of the main numbers plus both Lucky Stars to win €7,012 (£4,768) each, and the total number of prizes won was 1,480,301. In the United Kingdom, one lucky player won £1,000,000 by matching the Millionaire Raffle number KRT385377.

With the midweek EuroMillions game behind us, we can now look forward to the €100 million game this Friday. Players who want to follow the ‘hot numbers’ should be looking at the main numbers 50, 04, 44, 19 and 11, along with the Lucky Star numbers 03 and 05. For those who prefer to play one or more of the most overdue numbers, the main numbers to consider are 47, 18, 09, 23 and 02, whilst the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 08 and 07.

Demand for EuroMillions tickets is always higher for Friday games than it is for midweek games, and the special jackpot this week is certain to drive participation levels even higher. That being the case, we would advise you to buy your tickets as soon as possible (click here to play online) in order to avoid the last minute rush. Good luck with your entries and remember to let us know if you win big!
