EuroMillions Jackpot Increases to £20 Million
27th March 2014 2:18 PM
The EuroMillions jackpot has increased to £20 million (€25 million) following Tuesday’s draw without a top prize winner. Even though no players won the jackpot, there were over 1.7 million players who secured a prize for matching just two or more main numbers.
The winning numbers from Tuesday’s EuroMillions draw were 7, 20, 26, 28 and 50 with the Lucky Stars 2 and 8. In the second prize tier, five ticket holders successfully matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win €195,729 each. As a result of there being no UK winners in the second prize tier, the sterling value of the prize isn’t available but, based on the current exchange rate, the prize would have been approximately £161,912.
In the third prize tier, three tickets holders matched all five main numbers to win £73,167 (€108,738) each while in the fourth prize tier, 44 players matched four main numbers and two Lucky Stars to win £2,494 (€3,707) each. In the additional Millionaire Raffle game, one UK ticket holder struck it lucky and scooped the £1 million prize by matching the winning code JZQ328601.
The full prize breakdown from Tuesday’s draw can be found on the EuroMillions Results page.
So far this month there have been two EuroMillions jackpot wins. The first came on 14th March when UK ticket holder Neil Trotter scooped the £107 million (€129 million) jackpot and the second was just last Friday when a Swiss ticket holder took home the jackpot worth £21 million (€25 million). With two jackpots wins so far this month it will be interesting to see if the final draw of March sees any players emerge as jackpot winners.
For your chance to win the jackpot tomorrow night, make sure you have your tickets ready. Tickets can be purchased online or from an authorised retailer up until 19.30 GMT.
