1st May 2014 2:13 PM
The EuroMillions jackpot is now worth £72 million (€88 million) after ticket holders in Tuesday’s draw failed to match all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars drawn. Although the jackpot eluded players, the results revealed there were over two million ticket holders who did win a prize.
For players who have yet to check the numbers from Tuesday’s draw, they were 18, 23, 26, 35 and 44 with the Lucky Stars 3 and 11. Three ticket holders narrowly missed the jackpot by just one number when they matched all five main numbers but only one Lucky Star. However, each of these second tier winners still won a respectable €433,234.The third prize tier saw eight players matched all five main numbers to win £37,631 (€54,154) each and 46 ticket holders in the fourth prize tier each won £3,272 (€4,709) by matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars.
All other winners in Tuesday’s draw secured prizes worth between £2.70 (€4) for matching just two main numbers up to £131 (€189) for matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star. In the additional UK Millionaire Raffle game, one UK ticket holder scooped the £1 million prize by matching the winning code WDY323192 and one French ticket holder secured the €1 million My Million prize by matching the code NF0994682. The full prize breakdown from Tuesday’s draw can be found on the EuroMillions Results page.
As there is now a £72 million (€88 million) jackpot at stake, ticket sales for tomorrow night’s draw are likely to soar as players compete for the chance to win this life-changing prize. We advise players wishing to participate in tomorrow’s draw to purchase their tickets in plenty of time to avoid the last-minute rush.
