EuroMillions Jackpot Increases to £17 Million
7th April 2014 2:27 PM
The EuroMillions jackpot for tomorrow night’s draw is worth £17 million (€21 million) after ticket holders failed to win the £12 million (€15 million) jackpot in Friday’s draw. Despite there being no jackpot winners on the night, more than 2.3 million ticket holders matched two or more numbers to win a prize.
For players who have yet to check the numbers from Friday’s draw, they were 6, 10, 28, 45 and 50 with the Lucky Stars 10 and 11. A notable feature of Friday’s draw was that there were no UK winners in any of the top three prize tiers and, so far this year, the only other time that has happened was on Tuesday 11th February.
The second prize tier winners in Friday’s draw consisted of one ticket holder from Belgium and another from Portugal who matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win €735,283 each (approximately £608,396) while in the third tier, four ticket holders matched all five main numbers to secure a prize of €122,547 (, which comes out as approximately £101,394).
Other prizes won in Friday’s draw went from £2.50 (€3.60) for matching two main numbers up to £3,283 (€4,805) for matching four main numbers and two Lucky Stars. For the complete prize breakdown from Friday’s draw, visit the EuroMillions Results page.
We would like to remind players that a special UK Millionaire Raffle draw will take place this Friday in which ten UK ticket holders will each win £1 million. As this is the first Millionaire Raffle draw of 2014 to offer multiple £1 million prizes, participation is likely to soar so we advise that people wishing to play EuroMillions on Friday purchase their tickets ready in plenty of time.
EuroMillions tickets for Friday’s 10 UK Millionaires Raffle draw can be purchased online via the Buy Tickets page or from an authorised retailer.
