EuroMillions Jackpot of £55 Million Won in the UK

The UK has celebrated its third jackpot win in the space of two months, after a single ticket holder matched all the numbers on Tuesday 20th June.

The top prize was worth £55 million (€64 million), having rolled over since another UK player won £111 million (€130 million) in a Superdraw on 2nd June.

The winning numbers for the latest draw were 11, 17, 28, 32 and 35, with Lucky Stars 5 and 6. Among the 1.5 million prizes that were paid out across Europe, there was only one ticket that matched the full line.

It was announced immediately after the draw that the winning entry was sold in the UK, with the National Lottery urging everyone who played to check their tickets.

The winner now has 180 days from the draw date to come forward and claim their prize. The Superdraw winner from earlier this month made contact within 48 hours to start the process, while others prefer to wait a bit longer to allow the news to sink in.

If you still have not reviewed your tickets from the draw, you can use the EuroMillions Checker to compare your numbers to the official results. Go to the How to Claim page to find out what you need to do if you have won a prize of any value.

The majority of players decide to stay anonymous, but some are happy to go public and share their story. It is up to each big winner to choose whether they stay private or not.

The latest jackpot success also takes the UK one clear of France at the top of the list of the most successful countries. Visit the Winner Statistics page to find out how all the participating nations have fared.

No UK players had won the jackpot this year until 5th May, when someone from the country pocketed a third of a prize worth £138 million (€159 million). The other winners in that draw were from Switzerland and France.

After the Superdraw win and Tuesday’s £55 million payout, the UK is on a great run. You can try and become the next winner by getting involved in the next draw. Visit an authorised retailer in any of the participating countries or take part online.
