EuroMillions Jackpot Reaches £20 Million
24th September 2014 10:20 AM
The Tuesday night EuroMillions draw saw over 1.8 million ticket holders snap up cash prizes, but the £11.7 million (€15 million) jackpot remained untouched. As no player matched all five main numbers and two Lucky Stars drawn on the night, the top prize has increased in value to £20 million (€25 million) for Friday's draw. Last night’s winning numbers were 12, 13, 14, 29 and 35 with Lucky Stars 1 and 7.
There were three players who matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win £260,041 (€357,328) each, while two ticket holders, neither of whom were from the UK, landed a €178,664 payout when they matched all five main numbers drawn.
Another 36 players matched four main numbers and two Lucky Stars to win £3,611 (€4,962) each and 819 participants won £138.90 (€190.80) for matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star. The remaining players won amounts worth between £2.80 (€3.80) for matching two main numbers and £81 (€111.30) for matching four main numbers. In addition, one UK player won a cool £1 million in the Millionaire Raffle. Visit the Results page for a full prize breakdown.
It was a bumper night for the supplementary My Million game, which typically guarantees one prize of €1 million for one lucky French player who matches the winning code. However, there were ten My Million winners last night, and the fun will continue on Friday when another ten players will win €1 million each.
The prospect of a £20 million payday thanks to the Friday EuroMillions draw could be the perfect way to finish off your work week. If you want to be in with a chance to win big, make sure you buy your tickets before sales close at 7:30pm BST (8:30pm CEST) on Friday. Tickets can be purchased online via the Play EuroMillions tab or by visiting an authorised retailer.
