EuroMillions Jackpot Reaches €59 / £49 Million

Friday’s EuroMillions results revealed that no ticket holder matched all five main numbers and two Lucky Stars drawn to win the jackpot and so the jackpot increases to €59 / £49 million for Tuesday’s draw. Although no players won the jackpot, there were over 2.5 million players who did win a prize.

The EuroMillions numbers from Friday’s draw were 5, 19, 34, 35 and 41 with the Lucky Stars 1 and 5. Seven ticket holders, including two from the UK, matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win €240,106 / £168,155 each while five players matched all five main numbers to each win €112,049 / £78,472. A striking feature of Friday’s draw results was that there were more winners in the second prize tier than there were in the third. The last time this happened was on Tuesday 31st December 2013 when 12 players won the second tier prize and only six won the third tier prize.

In Friday’s draw, a further 64 players won €4,376 / £3,065 by matching four main numbers and two Lucky Stars and 948 ticket holders matched four main numbers and one Lucky Star to win €258 / £181. In addition to the main winners, one UK EuroMillions ticket holder matched the Millionaire Raffle code PTY086372 to win £1 million.
