EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls On
11th October 2012 9:14 AM
The EuroMillions jackpot rolled over yet again on Tuesday 9 October, continuing a trend of Tuesday rollovers that started back in June. It also continues a trend of players having massive jackpots to play for each Friday, and this week it is a triple rollover jackpot that is estimated to be worth around €46 million (around £37 million). There have been quite a few Friday night winners in recent months, so if you haven’t yet won yourself a fortune the next EuroMillions draw could put things right!
For those of you who bought tickets for the most recent Tuesday EuroMillions game but haven’t yet had a chance to check them, the main numbers drawn were 02, 08, 10, 23 and 25, and the Lucky Star numbers were 08 and 09. The main numbers 02 and 08 were previously highlighted as being two of the ones that were most overdue to appear, so it is encouraging to see them do so. The most overdue main numbers for the next draw are 47, 32, 40, 14 and 29, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 05 and 10.
There were 10 tickets that matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star number on Tuesday, and those tickets won a cash prize of €113,637 (£80,921) each. 17 tickets won a third-tier prize of €22,282 (£15,867) each by matching five main numbers only, and 54 tickets matched four main numbers and both of the Lucky Star numbers to win €3,507 (£2,498) each.
A further 2,090,680 EuroMillions prizes were won across the lower prize tiers, with 1,449 of them being worth €114 (£81) each to those who matched four main numbers and one Lucky Star. The Millionaire Raffle number on Tuesday was DMG283601, so the UK player who was fortunate enough to find that same number on their ticket is now £1 million richer than they were beforehand.
Now players can look ahead to the €46 million EuroMillions game this Friday and hope that they will match the seven numbers required to win it. Will anyone succeed or will the jackpot continue rolling? Buy your EuroMillions tickets here and you’ll soon find out! Good luck!
