EuroMillions Players in Chester Urged to Check Their Tickets

UK National Lottery officials are on the lookout for a EuroMillions ticket holder who could be about to miss out on £1 million. The mystery winner bought their ticket in the Chester West and Chester area ahead of the draw on Tuesday 16th May, but is yet to make contact regarding their victory.

The lucky player, whose good fortune could be about to run out if they do not check their entry soon, matched the winning Millionaire Maker code XKCV 83963 and has until Sunday 12th November to claim their prize. EuroMillions players in the UK are reminded that they have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim any prize.

The National Lottery’s senior winners’ advisor, Andy Carter, was on hand to offer players in the region a few words of helpful advice: “Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa,” he said. “We’re urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old EuroMillions tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding so that this prize can turn someone into the newest member of the lottery millionaire club.”

The ever-present Carter also reminded the unsuspecting winner that this seven-figure sum could make a huge different to their life and reiterated his desire to see the prize united with its rightful owner. “We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win,” he smiled.

There is currently more than £9 million worth of unclaimed EuroMillions prize money sitting in the vaults at National Lottery headquarters. These include two Millionaire Maker rewards that are set to expire this month, with players in the District of Huntingdonshire and St Albans City and District regions also being reminded to carefully check their playslips from December 2016.

If these EuroMillions prizes are not claimed before the deadline passes, the money will be handed over to the National Lottery’s Good Causes Fund and used to help support the growth and development of projects in art, sport and education.

With the recent general election having captured the attention of the nation, players could be forgiven for forgetting to check their EuroMillions entries, however, players shouldn’t let the political landscape of their country keep them from landing a colossal sum of cash. If you think you could be missing out on a massive amount of money, head to the Unclaimed Prizes page to find out more.

If you fancy your chances of landing a colossal EuroMillions prize that would change your life forever, tonight’s jackpot of £25 million is just waiting to be won. You can pick your numbers online or from any authorised retailer ahead of the draw. Best of luck!
